Vector

3 of my best vector work projects. I am posting these quickly since a friend asked me to. Illustrator is probably my favorite program in the entire adobe suite. Its such a polished look.

-The first is a page out of a book called Hommage to Kurt, It played with transparency as well as a layering effect. As you flip though the pages it looks like the quotes swirl out of the cage up to the bird.
-The Second is just an image I did in a few hours of free time, playing with the idea of a super reflective glossy surface. The result is an octopus that looks like glass.
-The last is of a classmate, Nick. He loves mario cart racing so this is how I choose to depict him. He drew me as well, the image was beautiful. Maybe I can ask if he would let me post it.

As the semester comes to an end I have a bunch of polished work I intend to toss into my portfolio. Here are one of the pages I am considering.

Since I have just been so busy and I'm also going to shanghai soon, I need to post a ton of work... but I'll do that later!

Brand Spakin' New

I've given a lot of thought to my graduation this coming spring. Escaping from the safety of Columbia College is both exciting and terrifying. I feel that what I need most now is to keep my portfolio in mind. This is my work is progress as well as a glimpse into my day to day life. Hopefully I can entertain you and in turn get some feed back on my work.

I am estimating one update a week, but I know if these first few weeks I will probably do so more since I have so much artwork I just want to put up.

I figured I would start off with a post of something I did last holiday season.
